"A Soakens's Christmas Carol" Written by Ikachan.

Vendatir the handsome elf knight... had a very shiny mirror. And if you ever saw it, you would sigh and say "Oh dear."

All of the other Elf Knights, used to grin and break his mirrors. They wouldn't let poor Vendatir, walk around admiring his hair.

Then one foggy moonlit night, a demon came to say. "Vendatir with your mirror so bright, why don't I kill you off tonight."

Oh how the Soakens loved her, as they shouted out with glee! "Raja the evil demon, we bow down and worship thee!"

The Membership attribute of a group specifies how you may join the group.

Open: You may join the group at any time.
Invite only: You must be invited to join the group.

The Access attribute of a group specifies how the group can be viewed, browsed, or searched.

Public: Anyone can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.
Private: Only members of the group can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.
Secret: Only members of the group can view the group. The group does not show up in browse or search.

The "Active Members" panel displays up to six members who posted most recently to the group.

Click on the link "View All Members" to view all members of the group.

Help: OOC/Shoutouts

The OOC/Shoutouts is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the OOC/Shoutouts emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.

A "new" icon (

) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last 5 minutes.

To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.

Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the OOC/Shoutouts.

To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.

Help: Soapbox

The Soapbox is a (small) platform for the group owner to deliver a message to all the group members. It is a quick one-way communication between the group owner and the group.
