Ok everyone - time for me to get on my soapbox. *climbs up and clears throat* The point of this forum is to allow Harry Potter fans to come together and discuss their likes and dislikes of the beloved series.
This isn’t a place to Role Play - there are other groups for that if you would like.
If you happen to own one of those groups feel free to leave me a message telling me the name of your group, how to find it, a little about it like what makes it special. I’ll make a list and post it here so anyone interested can come find you.

This RP forum takes place after DH in the year 2000. It follows the story line of the books with the only exception that Severus Snape didn’t die and is rumored to be in Hogwarts though no one has seen him in two years. It is a fledging forum still starting up looking for good, active members. That means people who come on and post at least three times a week. They are also looking for those who enjoy reading and writing as many of the members have a tendency toward wordiness which can result in multiple paragraph posts. The forum will offer a custom Quidditch and Dueling game along with fun ‘classes’ and many places to play around with as well as the opportunity to interact with other writers and fans from all the world.
If you own another discussion group please don’t advertise here and try to steal members. It isn’t cool… HOWEVER if you are doing an event or something let me know - I may like to help you promote it or fund it or something.
If you wish to be a member I do ask that you stay relatively active. I say relatively because it is hard for me to be active and I’m the owner! Being active means coming on and posting meaningful extensions to current conversations and starting thoughtful discussions. Not starting yet another “Who’s your favourite character?” thread. Being active, a good writer (meaning little to no slang, no chat speak, proper grammar and punctuation, full sentences, clear message), and positive towards other members will get you promoted into an officer position.
