DARK VISIONS IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
I still havent decided where the final destination of this group will be (but to be honest, its hard not scrapping the whole thing and starting over). Changes so far: the group is now open to everyone (long overdue IMO). Thread clean up has commenced (I feel like WALL-E : so much trash, that everyone bailed.)
IMVU doesnt make thread moderation easy in the slightest, and thats an understatement (its definitely one of the straws that broke the camels back as to why the OG owner of this group bounced...)So thread clean up is gonna be slow at best. I just dont have the heart to delete it all and start new...not yet anyway.
Still welcoming suggestions (see thread). Thanks for your support!~ Es

The Membership attribute of a group specifies how you may join the group.

Public: Anyone can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.

Secret: Only members of the group can view the group. The group does not show up in browse or search.

The "Active Members" panel displays up to six members who posted most recently to the group.

Click on the link "View All Members" to view all members of the group.

Help: Dark Visions updates and chat announcements

The Dark Visions updates and chat announcements is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the Dark Visions updates and chat announcements emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.

A "new" icon (

) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last 5 minutes.

To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.

Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the Dark Visions updates and chat announcements.

To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.

Help: Soapbox

The Soapbox is a (small) platform for the group owner to deliver a message to all the group members. It is a quick one-way communication between the group owner and the group.
