BeyBlade began during 1999 as a Manga novel and wasn't too popular to most Yaoi fan girls, but once the anime showed up on TV screens in Japan in 2001, anime fan girls attacked. Starting at about the end of 2002, Yaoi fanfictions and fan arts started to appear and in the beginning of 2003, the first published, fan made, Shonen-ai appeared on the shelves. The first "main" Yaoi couples to appear for BeyBlade were; "Kai x Rei/Ray", "Tala x Kai", "Kai x Tyson", "Tyson x Max" and "Rei/Ray x Tyson"
But when BeyBlade V-force appeared, the couples all changed. They even went as far as to add in extra “two minute character” as a pairing and at about the middle of V-force in 2003 the famous "OC" characters really started to pop up more rapidly than in the pervious years.
In 2004, BeyBlade G-Revolution appeared and the Yaoi Fan Girl Revolution BEGAN.
On FF.net, almost all Anime/Manga categories slowed down their productions (but BeyBlade) by an amazing 45% and all BBA Yaoi fan girls seemed to have focused all of their writing time and talent on the "Kai x Tyson" boom. Almost all couples but, "Kai x Tyson" and "Bryan x Tala" seized to exist for a short while, and when the serious ended in the beginning of 2005, the fanfictions didn't slow down until the end of ‘05 when another show (Gundam Seed) appeared, filled with up tons of cute and promising Yaoi pairings.
But recently, here in 2007 - 08, BeyBlade seems to be slowly headed towards another Boom, as word seems to have traveled around YouTube, Google, Myspace, and other huge websites, that a 4th season might be showing up with in a few months to a few years. But as collected data proves, FanFiction reading, updating, and posting has increased by 15% since the middle of 2007. Also, BBA Yaoi, and non-Yaoi AMVs and video clips have increased an amazing 20% on youtube and other video sites.
So now, we amazing IMVU BBA Yaoi Fan's shall just welcome in (with open arms) the soon to be, Next BeyBlade (and BBA Yaoi) BOOM!

BeyBlade is an anime and Manga series about a group of kids battling with highly powerful spinning tops enchanted with sacred bit-beasts or spirits of mythical and powerful creatures. The show focuses on the battles between Beybladeing teams as they compete to become the world champions. The main characters are the Blade breakers, a team consisting of Tyson Granger, Kai Hiwatari, Ray Kon and Max Tate. During their quest to become BeyBlade champions, Tyson and his friends meet many new friends, enemies and competitors whilst overcoming problems.
BeyBlade began during 1999 as a Manga and a series of toys in Japan. After the Manga became a success, BeyBlade was made into an anime, that premiered in Japan, and was later dubbed and played in several other countries. BeyBlade had three seasons, a few video games and a vast line of merchandise. The show began in 2001 ended in 2004. The anime is aimed and targeted at younger elementary/primary-school aged children. It is a Kodomo Shonen anime.
The BeyBlade anime is licensed by Nelvana in North America. The BeyBlade Manga, made by Takao Aoki, is published in English in North America by VIZ Media, some names are changed to match the English anime version. In Singapore, it is published in English by Chuang Yi.
