this group is for people with autism or loved ones friends or just to learn more bout autism. little bout myself: my name is jen i have a 5 yr old son who i have been battling with for years to get him diagnosed with some form of autism. hes been tested twice. once when he was 2 he had all the signs for autism but by the time they tested him medically they went away. then he was tested again at 3 by the school he goes to and still they said no. his father has a son whose 2 yrs older than mine and he is autistic and i just now found out he has aspergers. i also found out that his family carries the autistic gene. As of Dec. 27th, 2007 my son has confirmed with autism. they are looking into PDD - NOS. took quite a few years but we finally got an answer.
