People learning how to be actors have to learn the theory and methods of acting, and practice. Roleplaying is similar, done each person inventing their own character and moving their own character through the story as it unfolds. There are some guidelines in roleplaying that we will explain, and we will have workshops and do 'improvisations' the same way that actors do to perfect their art. But don't think this is very formal, and don't think this is very serious. It is for enjoyment. IMVU is a great resource for roleplaying, with the avis, costumes, and sets that are available, a lot cheaper than live actors buying real costumes. If you are not familiar with roleplaying protocols and etiquette, or if you are but want to polish it some, and would like to advance your technique,, this group is a great one for you.
